Coombe Lodge is nestled in beautiful countryside and overlooks Chew Valley Lakes.  It has to be said that the views are simply stunning and offer an abundance of photo opportunities.

Doctor Chocolate have been the wedding band of choice for many couples who have booked this venue.  There are a couple of areas where we have set up to entertain the wedding guests.

One area is in the corridor, wide and ornate with wooden panelling next to the bar and at the opposite end of the room to the roaring log fires where guests can sit and enjoy a glass or two in comfort.

The other performance area is in the main function room in the bay windows.

Staff at this venue are efficient and friendly.  They clear the area where the band sets up first allowing Doctor Chocolate to get in and set up ready for the evenings wedding entertainment.

It doesn’t take us long.  With 10 band members we can be inside a venue and set up within 75 minutes.  Once set up the recorded music is played through our quality PA system and the stage is set for when the bridal couple require us to start.

There is a noise restriction at this venue as it is located near some residential houses but this isn’t a problem for Doctor Chocolate although it may be for some wedding bands.  We always have a sound engineer who ensures our sound works within the venues own restrictions and we know that music has to be finished by midnight.  With a midnight curfew on entertainment we make sure our last number is played at 11:45pm and, with an encore, our music has ended by 11:55 as per the venues request.
