Yeo Valley is a beautiful venue based in Burrington, Somerset. Doctor Chocolate played for a wonderful wedding in this simply stunning venue on a very sunny Saturday in 2018.
Yeo Valley is open for breakfasts and lunches Monday to Friday but you have to book! They have a 3 month waiting list currently and it’s not surprising to see why! Essentially this is a staff canteen and what a canteen! Overlooking Chew Valley Lakes the view is simply stunning. The function room is quirky with trees and fairy lights and lots of lovely local producers.
You can visit for breakfast or lunch but book early! The food is extremely high quality and they get booked up daily. If you have children this is a great place to visit as they hold various crafty events through the year.
Our wedding couple managed to secure the venue for a wedding and we were the first choice for wedding band. The room held about 200 guests and what a party we had! We haven’t had so many people sing every single word for every single song we played as much as this wedding. From the moment the band started the floor filled up and didn’t empty until after the band finished.
An awesome evening was had by all!
We were so pleased to be the wedding band at this venue and the wedding couple were so totally and obviously utterly devoted to each other.
So it was lovely to wake up on a sunny Sunday morning to find a lovely thank you from the mother of the bride nestling in our email in-box.

I just wanted to thank you all for the fantastic evening that you gave everybody at the reception on Saturday. It was wonderful! I meant to pop over and say hello but just seemed to get swept away by the event.
From the band’s warm up (which gave us a lovely inkling of what was to come) to the whole evening of great music that nobody could resist dancing to, we ALL had a great party which the band helped to make.
