Ceremony

Everything is organised and the big day is finally here.  At your wedding venue or church the guests are beginning to arrive to help you celebrate.  The length of a wedding ceremony can vary enormously depending on whether you are having a civil ceremony or church service.  Whatever you have chosen you need to think about the music needed for the occasion.

For civil ceremonies the music you choose has to have no religous content.  For church ceremonies you will need to choose a couple of hymns for during the service.  Apart from those conditions the music you can choose is pretty much up to you but choosing what music is to be played can be a minefield as there is so much choice available.

Your guests are arriving, chatting, minging and taking their seats.  This can take up to about 20-30 minutes and you’ll need some form of background music playing in the background whilst they are anticipating your arrival.

Depending on whether you are arriving separately or together you will need between 2-6 minutes of music for your grand entrance

You’ll then need roughly 5-10 minutes for the signing of the register and a further 5-10 minutes for your grand exit as a married couple and the guests to depart the ceremony room.

We receive all types of requests for musicians to play at this time and have a range of options available for you to choose from depending on the style, theme and budget available.

Drinks
Reception & Wedding Breakfast

The most important part of the day is over and there isn’t a dry-eye in the venue!  After you’ve exchanged vows it’s time for your drinks reception and photographs.

This is the time that your day guests enjoy catching up with each other and talking to friends and family they may not have seen in a while and to meet new friends and family.

At this time you may have a drinks reception where your guests enjoy a glass of prosecco or champagne whilst you take everything in or perhaps have a few photographs taken.

At this time you may be at your venue and enjoying the grounds, in a field for a festival style wedding, or in your own gardens at home.  Photographs and mingling at this time may last anything from 30 minutes up to a couple of hours and it’s the perfect opportunity for some music.

We can provide you with several different options to match your budget, theme and style.  Whether it’s a trombone quartet playing funky classical or popular songs, a duo with some jazz and swing, or a trio playing laid back popular songs – we have something to suit.

Duo/Trio

Classical and modern love songs. Any and every style caterered for and perfect for serenading your guests. Swing, Jazz, Modern, Love Songs, Pop.

Guitar/Vocals

A human juke box with a huge repertoire spanning the decades and musical styles from jazz and swing through rock n’ roll to contemporary rock, pop and soul. Available as a solo/duo/trio

Trombone Quartet

Looking for something a bit different and quirky? These 4 trombonists play anything from classical through to modern pop. Guaranteed to entertain your guests.
