During the summer months the venue has a beautiful marquee attached to the main bar area and this doubles up the spaces and options available to clients.

There are a couple of areas where our wedding band can set up.  On occasions we are asked to set up in the main building which is stone built, has roaring log fires and a beautiful bespoke bar set up.  The room is fairly bare of soft furnishings but that’s not a problem for Doctor Chocolate as we have our own sound engineer and quality PA equipment. This room has twinkly fairy lights and a soft ambiance is created with the use of candles and soft lighting.

The marquee is large and has a reveal curtain.  This is perfect for when the band are not required to set up early as they can arrive discreetly whilst the wedding breakfast is still taking place and set up quietly without being noticed or heard.  Doctor Chocolate are a 9  piece band with sound engineer so we can set up quickly and quietly.  Alternatively we can arrive earlier in the day and set everything up ready for the big reveal (the large curtain separating the room falls away and the band starts).

The marquee, reception area and bar all look over the beautiful grounds and lakes and it’s a wonderful location for any event.

Doctor Chocolate have played at this venue for many weddings, corporate events and private parties.  In fact, the owners have booked us on several occasions for their own Christmas Party as they needed a fun, engaging and professional band to ensure their private guests, family members, friends and other local businesses have a great night.

The staff at Quantock Lakes are attentive, polite and great fun.
