At some venues it can take a while to unload the van and get all the equipment on stage, navigating narrow corridors and stairs, tiny lifts and then set up on a stage which could be another 100 yards away. Sometimes though, we strike lucky and this picture is a prime example of the most perfect equipment “Get-in” in the world…. Carlsberg could have been sponsoring it! We loved unloading and loading at this event. However, no matter how big, how small, how tricky or how easy a venue is, Doctor Chocolate will overcome any obstacle and make it an evening to remember for you! The Chocs love a good wedding, everyone is in great spirits, the venues are so wonderful, and most importantly of all, the bride sometimes gets to sing with the band! Here is the latest wedding pic of the beautiful Tania, singing ‘Mustang Sally’ with her lovely bridesmaid Lizzy. If you have ever wanted to sing in a band, then you have two simple tasks to do. 1: Get married. 2: Book Doctor Chocolate! WE LOVE WEDDINGS.
Sarah has also been in the Chocs for a few years now! As well as doing shared vocals with Harry, Sarah will be your first point of contact for the Chocolates! Ensuring all the admin, finances, publicity and advertising gets done Sarah also deals with bookings for the band and liaising with clients, agents and venues. Sarah has a long musical background with her father and brother both playing in hugely successful dance bands in the South West. The first gig she went to was at the age of 6 weeks old and every weekend after that. Once old enough to walk she became her Mum’s dance partner and can dance a mean Quickstep when pushed! Her first singing experience in public was at the age of 5 singing Summer Loving but there’s no accounting for taste! Sarah can play keyboards and was playing solo and in duo’s until rescued by the Chocs! Sarah was also a Band Leader for a four piece resident dance band in the Weston area for over 10 years so has a great general musical background for all genres. Sarah loves being a part of the Choc team as the band have played at some awesome venues and always have a laugh and enjoy performing at every function!
