Father Christmas had come early for Johnny this year. The band were playing at the O2 Arena in London for a Corporate Event. Backstage in the band room there was the most amazing drum kit which Johnny insisted on trying! What’s that old saying……? “small things please small minds” or something like that…..!
Doctor Chocolate played for a wedding in Ross on Wye during the summer. The Groom, Gareth Evans, was brave enough to be erm….”volunteered”(?) to come up and give his own personal rendition of Mustang Sally with our front man Matt Venn. It was an interesting version with much hilarity as a result from the guests! Mustang will never be the same again…..
120 people applied for the role of Front Man for Doctor Chocolate during the summer months and it turned out to be a tough day of auditions – we had some amazing guys attend who completely blew us away with their vocal talents! But there’s only one Front Man for the Chocs and we’d like to introduce you to our newest team member: Harry Blinstone. Suave and sophisticated, fun and funky, talented and tenacious….. audition day, despite having had a heavy night at a gig the night before, he turned up at ten o’clock and totally rocked the hall with a fab rendition of Let Me Entertain You… pitch perfect and ballsy…..! Great stuff…. !
